    Opportunity:

    Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

    Job Details:


    • Work 8-hour day shifts

    • Apply ionizing radiation to patients of all age groups from pediatric through geriatric

    • Must be experienced with Varian Truebeam within the last year

    • Required expertise in 2D, 3D, DIBH, IMRT, SBRT techniques

    • Must have leadership capabilities to guide less experienced radiation therapy technologists

    • Perform radiation therapy, simulations, and blocks

    • Handle 17-20 treatments per day on average

    • Work with Truebeam treatment equipment and Siemens CT Simulator

    • Use Aria/PACS/Meditech EMR systems and EPIC charting system

    • Required certifications: ARRT and BLS certification

    • West Virginia state license required

    • No weekend or holiday requirements

    • No call or standby requirements

    • No floating to other departments

    • Department specific orientation provided

    • Black scrubs required (not provided by facility)

    This acute care hospital provides comprehensive cancer treatment services with a dedicated radiation oncology department. The facility features modern radiation therapy equipment including a Truebeam treatment unit and Siemens CT simulator, offering advanced cancer treatment techniques. The department maintains high standards of patient care with radiologists on-site and specialized nursing support for treatment procedures.

    Adex Job ID # Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
