Job summary
We are seeking experienced aerospace and mechanical engineers to be a part of small, dynamic teams through the preliminary and detailed design of primary aerospace structural and mechanical flight systems,Responsibilities
- Create 3D CAD models of composite aircraft primary structures utilizing CATIA 3DX
- Explore innovative manufacturing techniques, technology or geometry for the optimization of structural load paths
- Create complex surfacing models of composite part tooling surfaces
- Ply by ply definition of composite parts in 3D space with the guidance from an analyst/li>Select materials for parts based on load material compatibility and cost requirements/li>Select fasteners to meet load cases manufacturing maintenance requirements/li>Create mechanical systems for the actuation movement of aircraft components such as flight controls surfaces landing gear doors/
- Create 2D drawings or 3D model based definitions designs for use in manufacturing
