As a Security Officer - TWIC Gatehouse Driver in Paulsboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing traffic flow.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders and documenting actions taken.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication systems, report unusual activity, and complete required reports and shift pass-downs per Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.

A TSA issued TWIC is required.

Be at least 21 or more years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
