The available opportunity is a critical and comprehensive Network Strategy role within Operations FP&A, supporting the Executive Director of Network Strategy.
It requires a self-directed leader for achieving and exceeding financial performance, business growth, and meeting financial controls compliance objectives.Main Finance Business Partner to the Executive Director of Network Strategy
Developing key factory metrics that help measure and compare factory performance globally
Leverage Carrier's existing playbook to develop business cases for presentation to Executive leadership
Translate the operational scenarios being proposed to the P&L and balance sheet, allowing the Executive Leadership team to make informed decisions, and understand all risks and opportunities
Develop detailed business cases for make vs. buy analysis
Perform detailed financial reviews of both the P&L and Balance sheet, partnering with all parties to ensure there are not any surprises when we execute on projects
Provide post-implementation analysis to measure if our operational strategy was executed in line with our business case
Create new cadences/reviews that sync up the Network Strategy processes with the various planning, forecasting, and long-range planning at Carrier
Partner with the Operations Finance leads across the globe to ensure their forecasts are calibrated and reflect the latest view Network Strategy
Work closely with business and finance leaders to develop annual and five-year plans that are calibrated with the longer-term views from Network Strategy and reflect all long-term business financial objectives
BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or business administration with 10+ years of demonstrated Finance/Accounting experience OR MA/MS degree in accounting, finance or business administration with 8+ years of demonstrated Finance/Accounting experience
An MBA is desirable
Proven ability to drive change management in a large enterprise
Previous experience working within Operations in a large, global enterprise
Relevant experience working on network transfers of work & make vs buy analysis
