LVI has established a partnership with a Tier 1, nationally recognized multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, and they are currently seeking a dynamic structural engineer for their office in Southern California. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a passion for growth and leadership, actively seeking opportunities to contribute to the development of new buildings, the renovation of existing structures, and involvement in exciting and complex commercial projects. The role requires technical proficiency and familiarity with architecture, architectural engineering, retrofitting, roofing, and waterproofing system design.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations of and repair remediation for commercial, industrial, and multifamily residential structures, and producing detailed investigative reports. The role offers flexibility with hybrid/work-from-home benefits and opportunities for compensated travel for projects.

Qualifications:

• 3-8 years of experience
• Engineering-In-Training (EIT), PE, RA, or in pursuit of licensure
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field of study
• Experience in architecture, architectural engineering, seismic retrofitting, failure analysis, roofing, and waterproofing systems

Please note- while the role is remote, there is a requirement to be on site for projects in Southern California weekly
