    A reputable small civil litigation firm based in the vibrant heart of downtown Seattle seeks a seasoned Associate Attorney to join our dedicated team. With a focus on civil litigation, our firm prides itself on a collegial environment, commitment to excellence, and a holistic approach to legal challenges.

    Position Summary: The Associate Attorney will play a critical role in managing cases from the initial notice of appearance through to trial. This position demands a candidate with substantial experience in civil litigation, specifically six to eight years, and a proven track record of successful motion practice. Trial experience, while not mandatory, is highly regarded.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive client consultations to identify legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.
    • Undertake diligent research, including interviewing witnesses, reviewing depositions and evidence, and collaborating with clients to formulate robust legal tactics.
    • Skillfully draft motions and other legal documents, manage discovery processes, and depose parties, experts, and third-party witnesses.
    • Represent clients in hearings, vigorously advocating on their behalf and supporting motions and legal positions.
    • Lead or contribute significantly to trial proceedings, demonstrating adept courtroom strategies and a commitment to client objectives.
    • Facilitate the execution of settlement agreements, ensuring client interests are forefront.

    Qualifications:

    • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
    • A minimum of six to eight years of experience in civil litigation.
    • Licensed to practice law in the state of Washington.
    • Exceptional ability in motion practice and a solid understanding of the litigation process.
    • Strong analytical, research, and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload independently through trial.

    Benefits:

    • Full-time position. Salary range $130,000 - $145,000
