Wage Rate
Childcare Centre Site Leader wage starts at $ per hour and is eligible for the ECE Wage Enhancement of an
additional $ per hour while the employee maintains an ECE designation.

Nature of Position
We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a temporary, part-time Site Leader position at our Carmi
Childcare Centre (September to June). This centre offers after school care for school aged children. The
successful applicant will be responsible for the overall daily operations of the designated program as delegated
by the Team Leader including programming, staff supervision, adherence to government, legislative and
contractual obligations, as well as health and safety. The Site Leader is responsible for maintaining the integrity
of the program and the Society.

Qualifications
Applicants will have at minimum a Responsible Adult certification, leadership and supervisory experience or an
equivalent combination of education, training and experience, and previous childcare experience. A current
Early Childhood Educator Certificate and valid First Aid Certificate would be an asset.
Requirements

• Successful completion of a criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
• Standard First Aid and CPR
• Food Safe Certification would be an asset
