    Description

    Position Title: RF/ Electronics Calibration Technician

    Job Description:

    American Gage is currently seeking an experienced RF/ Low DC Electronics Calibration Technician with good working knowledge of a wide range of Test Equipment and Instrumentation. You will be responsible for calibrating, troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of products such as DMMs, Power Supplies, Counters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Signal Generators, Network Analyzers, Power Sensors and Power Splitters.

    Position Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in RF and Electronics calibration is strongly preferred, must be able to demonstrate electronic competence.
    • Understanding of basic metrology principles and applications
    • Ability to perform manual calibrations following approved procedures
    • Applicant should have at least five years of related experience in a calibration or test work environment, work experience will be verified.
    • Understanding of quality systems such as ISO 17025 is a plus
    • Military (i.e. PMEL) or applicable electronics training/ education is a plus.
    • Must have a productive mindset and ability to complete work unsupervised.
    • Must be able to work well with other employees and customers
    • Familiarity with Fluke MET/CAL calibration software is highly desired
    • Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills are a must
    • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to perform occasional field calibration work, valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
    • Must be a U.S citizen

    Salary Range: $70, $110,000.00

    Position Type: Full Time – 1st Shift
