- Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's data and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including security tools, network devices, and log files, to detect and investigate potential security incidents.
- Respond and Investigate security incidents, breaches, and unauthorized access attempts, and develop response strategies to mitigate the impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls, configurations, and policies to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and recommend proactive measures to strengthen our security posture.
- Provide cybersecurity awareness training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Support third party vendor risk security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity matters, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams as needed

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common security technologies and protocols.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, systems architecture, and cloud computing environments.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Experience with security incident response and forensic analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.
