- Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate contract terms with vendors and clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Draft, prepare, and administer contracts, including amendments and modifications.
- Conduct research on legal issues related to contracts and provide recommendations.
- Utilize tools such as DocuSign for electronic contract execution.
- Assist in the development of proposals and bid packages.
- Implement change management processes for contract modifications.
- Ensure adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
- Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and clients throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Contract Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and intellectual property law.
- Excellent vendor management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in contract drafting, proposal writing, and contractor management.
- Familiarity with change management processes within contracts.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on legal and business matters related to contracts.
