    Job title: Roofing Technical Representative

    Description

    Job Overview

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Representative to support Sales Representatives in our office.

    Sales and Customer Interaction

    • Travel to customers' locations to inspect commercial roofs and communicate with them to identify problem areas.
    • Measure commercial roofs and estimate the amount of roofing material and labor needed for re-roofing projects.

    Collaboration and Marketing

    • Work closely with the sales force to provide accurate information for proposal creation.
    • Assist in marketing efforts to acquire new accounts.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Bid Estimating Software.
    • General construction, roofing, or construction sales experience.
    • A valid driver's license in good standing.
    • Able to climb ladders to heights of 25 feet.
    • Experience with commercial roofing systems (Thermoplastic, Bur, Metal, EPDM, Tile, SPF Foam, and Coatings) preferred, but training will be provided.
    • College degree in Construction Management or a similar field preferred.
