    Security Officer Office Building 3rd Shift

    • Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour (subject to contract adjustments over time)

    CURRENT OPENING:
    • 3rd Shift: Thursday-Saturday 10pm-6am
    • Schedule: 3-4 Days a week

    LOCATION: Detroit, MI

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Customer Service: Approach all interactions with hospitality and patience.
    • De-escalate Situations: Assist in calming situations verbally.
    • Foot Patrolling: Monitor the building's exterior for security and safety concerns.

    SUCCESS INDICATORS:
    • Reliability: Always punctual and in appropriate uniform.
    • Friendly Personality: Balancing customer service and policy enforcement.
    • Adherence to Policies: Follow guidelines carefully.
    • De-escalation Skills: Ability to diffuse conflicts using communication techniques.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • No felony convictions and clear background check.
    • Positive demeanor and professionalism.
    • CPR/1st Aide/AED Certification required.
    • Physical capabilities: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and quick response to emergencies.
    • Ability to work independently.

    WHAT TO EXPECT:

    • Interview: Meet the Recruiter or Site Supervisor to discuss the role.
    • Job Offer: Details of the offer and onboarding process.
    • Background Check & On-Boarding: Complete necessary activities.
    • In-Office Orientation: Basic training and HR meeting.
    • On the Job Training (OJT): Site-specific training.
