    Description

    Job Title: Mental Health Specialist at McLean Hospital

    Join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional care to patients dealing with various psychiatric conditions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately document patient information and observations
    • Build therapeutic relationships with patients and uphold professional boundaries
    • Participate in patient care assignments and treatment planning
    • Intervene in crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
    • Adhere to care standards and protocols
    • Remain vigilant during shifts and conduct Point of Care testing
    • Engage in patient activities and maintain a safe environment
    • Assist patients with daily living activities and hygiene needs
    • Support patient well-being during tests and procedures
    • Commit to ongoing professional development and competency

    Requirements:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Preferably two years of college education and clinical experience
    • Prior experience in direct patient care is advantageous

    Licensure: N/A

    Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaborative abilities

    Experience: Previous involvement in direct patient care is a plus
