Caseload :
Cardiac surgeries 1/day, but not every day; 5-7 general cases/day. Must help cover general if no cardiac cases.
The group practice is predominantly solo cases, but they do have CRNA students rotating through, so the cardiac anesthesiologist needs to be okay with students in the operating room with him/her.
If there is any supervision/direction, the partners will oversee that.If there are no cardiac surgeries scheduled, the locum would be expected to take on general cases until the next scheduled heart case.
