- Individualized Assessments: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in a virtual setting to determine their communication needs.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' speech and language goals.
- Virtual Therapy Sessions: Deliver engaging and effective virtual speech therapy sessions using our telepractice platform, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to ensure continued success.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster a collaborative learning environment and provide support for the integration of speech and language goals into the overall curriculum.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development activities.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based setting preferred but not required.
- Strong computer and technology skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- 1099 contract assignment
