    Description

    Senior PC Technician Opportunity

    Join our team at SAIC as a Senior PC Technician to provide essential support for day-to-day operations at National Capital Region (DC area) for SOCOM. Be part of ensuring data, voice, video, and communication systems are operational to support communication between warfighters and Senior Defense Officials.

    Responsibilities:

    • Front line support for end users, network services, and software/hardware maintenance.
    • On-site technical support for workstation installations, repairs, and maintenance.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving software/hardware failures efficiently.
    • Collaborating with supervisors, peers, and customers to manage work effectively.
    • Documenting equipment upgrades, replacements, and maintaining user accounts.
    • Implementing fixes, patches, and performing system upgrades.
    • Operate and maintain various equipment including computers, printers, and scanners.

    Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of experience with an Associate degree or 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Help/Service Desk (DoD environment preferred).
    • Active DoD Top Secret clearance required; eligibility for SCI necessary.
    • DoD 8570 IAT-II certification required (CompTIA Security+).
    • One Computing environment certification needed: MCSA: Windows 10 OR MCSA: Windows Server 2016 OR Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator OR Microsoft Intermediate Level Certification: MCA.
    • Extensive troubleshooting experience with Microsoft OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Ability to work in dynamic environments and non-standard hours, mission-focused.

    Desired:

    • Self-motivated, organized, with networking/client-server applications experience.
    • Proficiency in printers (hardware/software) and security configurations.
    • Desired certifications CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP Windows 7, ITILv3.
    • Experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting, TCP/IP networking, and customer support activities.
    • Deployment experience in enterprise environments (Norton Ghostcast, PXE, image cloning).

    Salary Range: $85,001 - $95,000. SAIC welcomes applications continually with no specific deadline.
