- Provide FI/FM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
- Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary;
- Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases;
- Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
- Define user authorization requirements;
- Provide help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving FI/FM defects (
•break/fix'), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP FI/FM solution and system - Support data cleansing and accounting review for data migration.
- Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed.
- Ten (10) or more years of SAP experience.
- Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area, specifially Finance (FI) and Funds Management (FM).
- Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred.
- Must possess knowledge and/or experience with ANY of the following: SABRS, CFMS, WAWF, EDA, DCAS, and SMARTS
- Requires strong organization and communication skills.
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
- Nice to have- experience in data cleansing and data set reviews for business compatibility.
- May supervise others.
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidates must possess, or be eligible to receive, US DoD Secret-level Security Clearance
- Ideal candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering , Mathematics, or Information Systems.

Herdt is seeking candidates at the journeyman or senior-level to provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FI/FM to automate the management and external reporting of many components of the SAP system.
