Vaco has partnered with a client who is well known in their industry.
Our client is in search of adding a talented Tax Manager that will be pivotal, overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and strategy.
The focus is on ensuring strict adherence to tax laws and identifying opportunities to minimize the organization's tax liability.Responsibilities:
Compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, both at the federal and state levels.
Keep stakeholders informed about tax-related matters, changes in tax laws, and the potential impact on the organization.
Provide tax-related advice to internal teams, management, and other stakeholders.
Risk Management.
Audit Support.
Tax Planning.
Documentation and Record Keeping.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
5+ years of accounting experience.
Experience with Corporate income taxes and/or tax provisions.
Deep understanding of GAAP knowledge required.
CPA preferred.
