    Job Type Full-timeDescription POSITION FUNCTION Maintain all documents related to the Quality System, including, but not limited to, the following: 1.

    AS9100 procedures and work instructions2.

    Drawings:
    customer and in-process3. Process Travelers4. Operation Sheets5. Forms related to Quality6. Inspection Reports7. SPC Plans, CustomerRequirementsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Responsible for maintaining document control.
    • Publish weekly past-due corrective action reports from Final Inspection and Customers
    • Review customer contracts for applicable quality requirements and flow-down requirements to Manufacturing (i.e., through Process Traveler, Inspection Report, etc.)
    • Review purchase orders to Vendors for compliance with customer-required quality requirements, as applicable.
    • Liaison between AOP and the Government for property control, waiver requests, and relevant paperwork associated with returned products for repair.
    • Develop first article inspection paperwork and plans.
    • May be required to guide customer audits.
    • Determine product specifications and standards.
    • Devise and implement programs and processes to ensure product compliance.
    • Determine pass/fail limits and allowable variances.
    • Prepare and issue quality certifications and required government documents.
    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION
    Must meet all the qualifications of an inspector plus the following:

    • 3-5 years' experience as an engineer in a manufacturing environment.
    • Possess strong knowledge of AS9100 standards.
    • Expertise in Excel and MS Word, CAD Key
    • 2-3 years experience working with mil standard requirements.
    • B. S. Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Familiarity with government specifications and quality requirementsLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business materials and documents. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and document work activities. Ability to effectively present information to, and respond to questions from, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, interest, and percent, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
