Transfers the responsibility for care of the patient to other qualified providers post-operatively to assure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Report and completed documentation is provided upon transfer of the patient from intra-operative to post-operative care provider.
- The patient is discharged from the post-anesthesia care unit and provided with post-anesthesia follow-up, evaluation, and care.
- Master's Degree in Nursing and is Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist.

Become privileged and credentialed by the Medical Staff in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws and remain in good standing.

Administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in collaboration and consultation with attending anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals for patient care services including but not limited to surgery, perinatal services, and emergency response.
