    Description


    Essential FunctionsPerforms various duties including configuring hardware, providing technical support, researching and resolving technical problems, installing/testing software and creating any necessary documentation.

    Provides support, in compliance with the Helpdesk Service Level Agreement, to business users who contact the IT Support Team requesting assistance with technical issues or questions.

    Maintains a high level of availability of network resources (computer systems, server and network infrastructure, etc.) and protects the network from outside threats (intrusions, denial of service attacks, viruses, etc).Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

    Providing training and direction to the IT Support Analysts on any areas of knowledge required to perform their daily support activities related to networking and infrastructure.

    Assist with implementing upgrade and replacement strategies to maintain efficient operation and avoid out of support or end of life situations whenever possible.

    Performs other duties as assigned.
