POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented Juniors Apparel and Graphic Designer to join our team as a Category Manager in the specialty retail space.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen awareness of the licensing industry, junior appropriate trends and proficiency in the Adobe Suite.
Experience working with or for specialty retailers preferred.QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.
Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in specialty stores or a fashion retail environment is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Collaborate with Creative Director and Creative Head to develop seasonal concepts for apparel and graphic design projects with a focus on Specialty retailers.
Create compelling graphics and designs for a variety of apparel items, including t-shirts, hoodies, cut & sew garments, sweaters and seasonal trend items.
Drive development from conceptual ideation to final product.Stay up to date with current fashion trends and translate them into innovative licensed design solutions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet brand standards and market demands from cost engineering to brand presentations.
Support the design, product development and sourcing teams in research, sketching, and prototyping.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
BUSINESS HOURS
Hours of operation:
Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm, and as needed to meet business goals and objectives. Flexible and able to work the hours needed to get the job done. Position is located in Irving, TX, and will not offer fully remote opportunities.
