- Provide social-emotional support and intervention services to students in elementary and high school settings.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' social and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed.
- Facilitate social skills groups and other therapeutic interventions.
- Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and munity resources.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- Michigan State Social Worker license or Counselor License.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in elementary and high school.
- Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, behavior management techniques, and counseling theories.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct interviews via Zoom.
- This position is full-time, 40 hours per week.
- General education experience is required.
