    Present on four continents, the Group continues to reinforce its position in growing markets. Our North American operations (KTNA) are continually to grow rapidly, creating new opportunities at our locations across the United States and Mexico.

    We are currently looking to hire an Industrial Process Leaderto support industrialization efforts at our North American locations. While this position is currently based in Novi, MI, we are open to candidates who reside near any of our other US locations, which include Fostoria, OH; Corbin, KY; and Hollywood, AL.

    The Role

    As a core team member, the Industrial Process Leader is in charge of the implementation of standard methods and concept engineering in order to lead the industrialization efforts of projects. This includes coordinating all activities concerning equipment, tooling, and processes, as well as integrating lean manufacturing principles.

    These efforts will require you to:
    • Take into consideration commitments of the RFQ phase (budget available to invest in means and tools, industrialization planning, payments, etc.)
    • Realize industrial planning and ensure respect of project timing
    • Validate and standardize industrial decisions for equipment / tools and update industrial synthesis
    • Respect industrial review tool and update for each milestone
    • Coordinate the FMEA Process
    • Define the layout concept and process flow chart
    • Realize equipment and tools specifications according to group standards
    • Study the possibility of refurbishing existing equipment or second hand purchasing
    • Participate in enquiries and supplier nomination in collaboration with Purchasing Department and plant
    • Participate in studies validation of equipment and tools
    • Monitor equipment and tooling investments
    • Participate in layout and flow studies, taking into account any plant limitations
    • Set up processes and provide training to plant teams
    • Support plants during project milestones: prototype, first parts production, IOD, SOP, etc.
    • Integrate equipment for compliance with other processes / tools
    • Plan backup processes with other equipment
    • Participate in project meetings as a member of project team, guarantee compliance with industrialization strategy
    • Participate in the RFQ process
    • Participate in provisional innovative process definition
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions in order to build a portfolio of productivity-improving ideas for the product / processes
    • Coordinate equipment transfers
    • Ensure the benchmarking of tools & equipment with suppliers before equipment is brought into the plant
    What we're looking for:
    • Experience performing duties similar to those listed above would be a great start
    • Background in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
    • Experience in and demonstrated understanding of equipment specification, process development, lean manufacturing principles
    • Experience working with equipment / tooling suppliers to select appropriate vendors, coordinate installation, etc.
    • Knowledge of new equipment or process set-up
    • Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
