As an Orlando Children's Therapy therapist, you will emphasize communication with families, caregivers, and other professionals who care for the child. Ongoing assessments and re-evaluations will measure the child's progress toward individual goals. Families and caregivers are encouraged to participate actively in the intervention process and are given strategies and exercises to use between visits to promote ongoing progress. Orlando Children's Therapy provides Early steps care in the clinic, home, and daycare settings and participates with North Beaches and Space Coast Early Steps, which cover Brevard, Flagler, and Volusia counties.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Speech Language Pathologist:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide quality services to a full caseload of children from birth to 21 years old. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with Kids with a broad spectrum of abilities. This would include setting up equipment, organizing paperwork, and organizing fun activities to help get the most out of your treatments. Along with completing the following daily tasks:
