Overview*Certified Surgical First Assistant
As our Surgical First Assistant at St. Joseph, you will be an indispensable part of the surgical team, ensuring the safety and success of operative procedures. You will work closely with the surgeon and collaborate with the surgical staff to provide essential support throughout surgeries.

Responsibilities+ Select and assemble instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures, maintaining aseptic technique, and performing counts as per policy+ Prepare the sterile field, arrange instruments, and anticipate the surgeon's needs+ Assist in patient positioning, wound closure, and various other critical surgical tasksQualifications
+ Associate's Degree+ Certified Surgical First Assist Certification through either ABSA, NBSTSA, or NSAAPay Range**$ $36.52 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
