    Job Description Job Description General Manager/Property ManagerOur client specializes in managing residential properties including condominium associations, multifamily rental units, and individual rental homes.

    There is also an in-house full service contracting group.
    We are managing the search for a General Manager. This position is becoming available due to the well-deserved retirement of the current General Manager. The position offers a hybrid situation, competitive base, bonus plan, and strong benefits package.
    Essence of the PositionYou, as the successful candidate, will continue and develop their growth strategy and success.

    You will have the business acumen to manage the staff while setting and coaching them regarding task and short term and long-term goals to drive the company forward.

    High Emotional Intelligence and common sense will be used in your dealings with employees, clients, tenants, and vendors.
    ResponsibilitiesManage the daily operations of the business and set the strategic course.
    Coordinate vendors, contractors, and maintenance crew for various projects.
    Outstanding client service in interacting with both tenants and landlord/owners.
    Meet with new and prospective clients, tour properties, and send proposals for new business.
    Oversee construction crew for new renovation jobs, including estimating costs, supervision, and billing.
    Conducting annual reviews for HOA associations.
    Meet daily with key employees to review ongoing projects.
    Meet with clients and vendors on a regular basis (in-person, video conferencing,and phone calls).Routinely visit the properties.
    Develop the business plan and budgets.
    Continually monitor progress and finances.
    Qualifications 5+ years of strong, proven management skills in a smaller operation. Proven experience in creating a strategic business model and implementing it. Substantial experience in financial oversight of an organization, including budget development. Project management experience. Ability to incorporate emotional intelligence and common sense in every aspect of this position. Having a contractors license is a big plus. Experience in the field of property management or real estate is a big plus.
