    This full-time, permanent Purchasing and Inventory Buyer Specialist career opportunity is at a financially stable, employee-owned company that created their dynamic industry.

    The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

    • Participating in making sure there is an adequate supply and quality of materials
    • Functioning as a buyer
    • Working with purchase orders and acknowledgements
    • Entering purchases
    • Working with inventory
    • Analyzing and solving material purchasing, inventory and customer problems
    • Working with customers, parts and engineering departments

    The successful candidates' backgrounds should include:

    • A two year engineering or supply chain degree
    • One or more years of inventory/materials management or buyer experience in a industrial production environment
    • Possess an understanding of 6Sigma, lean manufacturing and Materials Requirement Planning
    • Possess a desire to dig in, investigate and get things done
    • Possess a curious, analytical mindset
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
    • A solid work history
    • A US citizen or possess a green card
    • A residence within 45 minutes
