- Manage a large volume of in-person, telephone, and email communications from various Operations Control and external contacts.
- Place and confirm daily in-flight catering orders.
- Communicate with flight crews, team members, and vendors regarding any issues that may affect catering services.
- Address and resolve potential service deviations due to flight schedule changes proactively.
- Coordinate last-minute orders with vendors like door dash or grub hub.
- Handle accounting tasks such as tracking, monitoring, and validating catering invoices and credit card transactions.
- Demonstrate knowledge of company products and programs.
- Collaborate with third-party catering vendors to meet expectations.
- Interpret food and beverage industry and aviation catering information for daily tasks.
- Ensure daily quality assurance of all in-flight catering transactions.
- Deliver top-notch service in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 1-2 years of customer service experience in a luxury service environment or food and beverage industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn company software.
- Adapt well to a fast-paced environment and changing business needs.
- Detail-oriented and effective working independently or in a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Maintain professionalism while handling real-time customer and catering service demands.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 365/24/7 operation.

The In-Flight Catering Coordinator manages the ordering and confirmation processes for in-flight catering for our internal and external clients.
