    **Sous Chef**

    **Elmbrook Court Care Home a part of Oakland Care is recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef**

    **Location:** Elmbrook Court Care Home

    **Hours:** 40 hours per week

    **Salary:** 25, ,000 per annum

    **Contract:** Permanent

    **Your key responsibilities in the role as a Sous Chef will include:**

    Ensure an excellent service is provided to the people we support at all times;

    Ensure that care/support plans are followed in respect of the nutritional needs of each individual, supporting people to meet their daily physical and psychological needs and providing assistance as appropriate;

    Prepare nutritional snacks for residents as required and directed by the Registered Manager

    Ensure prepared food is of an excellent quality and palatability as well as presentation

    Working closely with the Head Chef

    Stock control; stock replenishing/ ordering

    You will need impeccable communication skills, relevant qualifications, food hygiene certificate, aware of all the regulations, knowledge of therapeutic diets and experience of delivering a high-quality service as a Chef is essential.
