    Description
    (2-3 sentences describing job purpose): This role will develop impactful learning solutions for adult learners, leveraging knowledge of instructional design and proficiency in creating clear and concise written materials. A solid foundation in instructional design methodologies, combined with strong technical writing skills will ensure effective communication for complex concepts are well received by diverse audiences. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to design, create and implement successful training. You may also at times lead other staff in delivering the most effective training that meets department goals.

    Job Duty/Resp. 1:

    Design and develop engaging learning resources, including online courses, user guides, manuals, and tutorials, utilizing instructional design principles and technical writing best practices ensuring content is accessible, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives.

    Job Duty/Resp. 2:

    Analyze learning needs and objectives with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define clear learning outcomes for adult learners.

    Job Duty/Resp. 3:

    Work with Product managers, business owners, and SMEs to regularly review and update and improve training materials/resources.

    Job Duty/Resp. 4:

    Working with the team, produce new training materials for face to face, online, blended learning programs.

    Job Duty/Resp. 5:

    Assist in the evaluation of learning interventions, gathering feedback and data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Job Duty/Resp. 6:

    Conduct and facilitate training sessions as needed.

    Job Duty/Resp. 7:

    Research new technologies and training methodologies to continuously improve organizational learning and training.

    Job Duty/Resp. 8:

    Perform other related duties as assigned by the MNPS TIS EDS Management.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    Education (training/degree) : Required minimum: Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience

    Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required:

    Experience: 3+ years of experience in instructional design, technical writing, or a combination of both, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.

    Skills Required: 1) Strong knowledge of andragogy and learning principles 2) High level of public speaking and writing skills 3) Understanding of enterprise level applications and systems 4. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.
