Job summary
Sr Auditor will provide expertise in the planning directing and performing of internal audit projects understand the business and leadership structure assesses organizational risk and regulatory compliance examines the internal control structure evaluates efficiency and effectiveness of operations provides consultation services to management on specific issues associated with auditing Company assets accounting controls compliance with company policies regulatory requirements.
The Sr Auditor will perform financial operational contract special investigation compliance audits for evaluating internal control systems effectiveness efficiency of operations coordinate testing review key financial reporting controls relied upon for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance follow-up testing as necessary participate pertinent risk assessment processes led by Audit Management Team ensure that audit plans cover higher risk areas develop/approve project risk assessment audit objectives scope program provide consultative services to business areas upon request develop maintain relationships with audit clients multiple business areas understand business area risks processes controls serve primary day-to-day audit contact person with client management serve consultative resource others operations regulatory concepts internal control concepts auditing concepts principles advise staff members contractors significant issues pertaining to audited areas assist staff members contractors development negotiation audit recommendations responses evaluate their performance providing guidance regarding department company policies procedures lead effort successfully complete department goals participate leadership role where possible on special projects underway by department or Company identify process improvements industry best practices could additional benefits department.
