    The Sales Manager is an experienced professional with understanding of sales operations, including floor process, internet process, phones, customer service skills, inventory management, and strong leadership skills; will assist the General Sales Manager in planning and organizing the Sales department activities; strong understanding of automotive financing with the goal to help qualified customers obtain financing in a timely manner and protect the organization's credibility; at all times providing an exceptional customer experience

    Responsible for daily operations of the Sales department; forecast goals/objectives for the Sales team.
    Meet with Client Advisors regularly to review goals/objectives. Develop and support action plans to help the Sales team achieve their goals/objectives.
    Verify the recording in CRM of all events in processing leads up to and including appointments.
    Manage lead distribution strategy to Sales team; drive process to follow-up unsold appointments.
    Verify all company websites, and ancillary sites are correct with current promotions and pricing.

    Interact with all customers in an enthusiastic, professional, courteous and helpful manner, striving for complete customer satisfaction at all times.

    Promptly follow-up with customers and fully answer their questions and address their concerns.
    Address customer complaints immediately.
    Follow company-approved operational procedures, including plate, key and lot management procedures.

    Continually maintain and upgrade "Product Knowledge" of the products and services the company sell and of "competing" products and services.

    Ensure all sales areas present a neat and clean image in accordance with Schomp and manufacturers expectations.
    Responsible for verifying data accuracy of deals entered into DMS.Review all Red Flag/OFAC verifications.
    Ensure compliance updating.
    Understand, keep up to date and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
    Must prioritize deals to ensure customers are handled within the 1 Hour promise time.
    Advise Sales team on programs that will maximize the gross and F&I opportunities.
    Update GSM on any problematic deals.
    Accurately watch and update the Cash In Transit (CIT) account; update notes in Axcessa for all unfunded deals.
    Responsible to drive the Sales team to reconcile fund delays.
    Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
    Responsible for customer data privacy; keeping computers and files protected.
    Recruit and train new team members of departmental processes.
    Responsible for continued development and training of departmental employees.
    Provide regular coaching to employees, allow opportunity for feedback, correct poor behavior, follow performance management standards.
    Practice safe work habits, and follow the company's safety policies.

    Able to use/learn to use:
    ASR, Xtime, dealer DMS system, Microsoft Office Products, Google Suite and other software products as required.
    Handle all vehicles with care, keep them clean and take precautions to protect all vehicles at the dealership.
    QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
    Two years of sales experience, supervisory experience preferred.
    Two years of automotive financing experience required.
    The ability to work independently with limited supervision and the motivation to continually increase product knowledge should be evident.
    Must possess and maintain a valid driver license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

    Must hold a current State sales license or have the ability to obtain a sales license as required by the State.
