    Primary Purpose of the JOB:

    The Loan Servicing Manager is responsible for leading the Servicing department in its mission of providing loan support to branch, loan, and operations staff.

    Essential DUTIES:

    Manage direct reports to maximize productivity and efficiency, including hiring, directing job assignments, monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies, and work rules. Appraise performance and provide recommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, as appropriate. Train staff for system enhancements and procedure changes.

    ``` - Audit loan maintenance changes and corrections - Research and resolve servicing problems, and handle escalated customer complaints - Solve complex issues, lead special projects, and prepare specialized reports - Develop and maintain Bank procedures as they relate to servicing and adhere to bank and regulatory changes and workflow processes - Provide monthly reporting, including the Participation Report, policy exception reporting, the booked loan report, and progress reports on projects - Review and follow up on the report of Loan Accounting exceptions, including: overlines, negative escrows, and negative amortizations

    ``` - Bank contact for servicing Participation Loans, including process payments, CITs and extensions. Respond to audits performed on behalf of participant bank. - Monitor General Ledger accounts for aged items and clear them - Create and maintain Business Analytics reports for several areas of the bank, as well as audit/exam requests regarding loan information and third party vendors. - Perform self-audits of loan reports to identify any errors or procedural issues - Research loan specifications and make necessary changes to improve efficiency - Create and maintain a courteous and professional relationship with co-workers while maintaining timely and prompt daily attendance

    Other DUTIES: *

    Backup department with respective responsibilities when necessary

    Other duties as assigned by management

    Required Experience/SKILLS:

    Six to eight years related job experience

    Knowledge of MS Office, Business Analytics, FISERV products

    Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously

    Good attention to detail and confident ability to make decisions

    Previous experience with leading teams

    Required EDUCATION:

    High school diploma or equivalency (GED)

    Additional knowledge acquired from specialized training in servicing

    Working CONDITIONS:

    Office environment with little exposure to physical hazards or conditions

    Ability to enter data into a computer and work with computer programs: Microsoft Word and Excel

    Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

    Ability to reach with hands and fingers, touching computer buttons/adding machine buttons for extended periods of time

    Ability to use fingers and hands to answer telephone repeatedly
