SUMMARY

L'AGENCE is looking for an experienced Denim Pattern Maker.

Responsibilities include:

• Work on pattern corrections from Development through Production
• Draft development pattern based on inspiration images, sketch, specs, and block given
• Attend weekly fittings
• Measure all garments
• Work on shrinkage blankets to incorporate shrinkage into patterns
• Work directly with Product Development and Technical Design teams to understand desired fit & pattern corrections, including phone calls and emails when needed.
• Make pattern revisions according to fit comments and adjust specs
• Work on Gerber system
• Review and release patterns and specs to vendors for production and approve grading
• Maintain accurate records of pattern revisions and updates

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in denim pattern making
• Strong knowledge of denim construction and standards
• Strong knowledge of zero shrinkage patterns and applying appropriate shrinkage to patterns
• Ability to translate fit comments to pattern corrections
• Ability to communicate and interface with technical design & production team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Strong organizational skills, technical & detail-oriented
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dedicated, deadline-driven and self-motivated
• Additional experience in soft woven and knits
