    Work you'll do/Responsibilities

    Developer will be responsible to build high-quality, reliable, scalable, and efficient software that meets the needs of the project by using appropriate programming languages/tools, to develop, test, administer and deploy software applications.

    The role will also require to continuously improve skills as needed to support the project.

    Write and implement clean, scalable code by following best practices, using proper naming conventions, understanding, and analyzing requirements, writing self-documented and modular code, avoiding code duplication, using version control, following object-oriented programming if applicable, using appropriate data structures and algorithms, using appropriate design patterns, optimizing DB queries, implementing caching when applicable, and handling errors gracefully.

    Conduct Peer Reviews by understanding requirements and scope, analyzing the code with respect to requirements and best practices for clean and scalable code, providing constructive and specific feedback, engaging with the author as needed and resolving any issues.

    Write an automated unit test which tests a single unit of code, covers all scenarios, and edge cases. Use mocking framework wherever applicable.

    Make sure that the tests are maintained to ensure they are relevant when code is changed during the SDLC process.

    Conduct Integration testing as needed by identifying all the internal and external components, identifying all scenarios and edge cases, and executing the tests manually in an appropriate environment.

    Troubleshoot and debug code by inspecting the code, looking for potential causes, reproducing the error, analyzing logs, using a debugger in lower environment.

    Creating required documents such as SOPs, and operating manuals by using the appropriate client or Deloitte provided format, executing the steps/instructions for accuracy, review and revise as needed and keeping them updated.

    Document progress of development activities in a tracking system

    Qualifications

    Required
    Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
    5+yearsoffull stack software development on web and client/server solutions
    5+ years of experience with Angular, ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML
    Experience with Spring Framework, JMS, SOAP and REST web services
    Experience writing SQL/Functions/Procedures in transactional database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
    Deep understanding of developing Web-services, HTML UI, CSS and JavaScript
    Experience with AWS (Lambda) preferred
    Experience with Kubernetes preferred
    Experience with performing code reviews and recommending automated review tools
    Must have Secret clearance
    Must be in your designated office location, 10%-30% of each work week

    Ability to travel 10% on average, based on the work you do, the clients you serve and industries/sectors you serve.

    Must live near, or relocate to, the Lake Mary, FL; Gilbert, AZ; or Mechanicsburg, PA areas
    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
