    JOB SUMMARY

    Responsible for utilizing, maintaining, and updating a Sustainment Management System (SMS), currently known as BUILDER, that can efficiently file batches and generate reports meeting specified requirements. BUILDER is a web-based software application designed to assist civil engineers, technicians, and managers in making informed decisions regarding building infrastructure maintenance. The selected individual will be tasked with overseeing and managing the functions of the BUILDER SMS database to ensure optimal access and utilization, as well as maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and currency of the data. They will also be responsible for inputting and ensuring quality assurance of all required database entries in coordination with other squadron teams.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide and maintain asset visibility for all facilities at both facility and subordinate levels by conducting detailed inventories of facility systems, components, and component-sections. This includes maintaining, updating, and creating detailed inventory data for all Type B, S, and LS facilities.
    • Oversee the facility inventory in BUILDER and make necessary updates to ensure accuracy.
    • Perform effective preventive maintenance tasks such as coil cleaning, filter changes, V-Belt replacement, bearing lubrication, regular adjustments, and operational inspections in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant codes and regulations.
    • Incorporate all installation real property installed equipment (RPIE) into the BUILDER database. Adhere to and implement work prioritization requirements within designated timelines using automated management systems for all work orders.
    • Maintain 100% synchronization of the SMS BUILDER facility inventory with the Air Force Accountable Property System of Record (APSR), NexGen IT.
    • Adhere to a comprehensive safety program to meet OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, and professional working environment, free of dust, clutter, and trash in all facilities and areas.
    • Follow a thorough, adaptable, and well-documented training program.
    • Ensure proper utilization and protection of all government and contractor-provided property, including government facilities, equipment, and tools.
    • Follow company time reporting procedures diligently and complete timesheets accurately.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned in line with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Education/Certifications:

    • Completion of U.S. military school training as evidenced by DD214.
    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Holder of certificates from Air Force BUILDER training courses conducted through the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) online course catalog, specifically WMGT 131 (Read Only Access), WMGT 231 (Assessor), and WMGT 331 (Data Manager). A current U. S. Passport and Driver's License are mandatory.
    • Must possess and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance before deployment.
    • Obtain an Air Force flight line driver's license post-deployment.
    • Pass a flight line access test and acquire a flight line access badge after deployment.
    • Fulfill employment and deployment qualification criteria, including psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, and background checks.
    • Successful completion of hands-on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) defense training.

    Experience:

    • Proficiency in working with Air Force BUILDER. Ideally, a minimum of one year in the continuous Data Manager role.
    • Prior experience in supervision and training.

    Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Capable and willing to work extended hours when necessary to fulfill mission requirements.
    • Military background in a contingency setting and familiarity with government contracts are advantageous.
