The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is seeking a creative, skilled, guest-focused restaurant server to join its team of fun-spirited team members The 250+ room hotel, with nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space, is conveniently located for business and leisure travelers.
Our property is just a short drive from the world-famous Mall of America. Some of our features include a full-service, modern American Restaurant concept with creatively crafted Food and Beverage offerings with a Minnesota twist. Other amenities include our indoor heated junior Olympic-sized pool, whirlpool, and 24-hour fitness center.

Join our dynamic Food and beverage team and play a crucial role in elevating our hotel's restaurant and outlet services Food Servers are essential to the success of the restaurant team and will provide outstanding guest service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a smile. Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
- Enthusiastically take and deliver guests' food and beverage orders. Regularly revisit the table to ensure beverages are refilled, and guest satisfaction is maintained.
- Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest.
- Maintain daily restaurant organization, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.
Physical Demands :
- Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift, carry, and transport 50 – 75 lbs.
- Work most of the shift standing and moving about in restaurants and the kitchen.
Qualifications :
Education :
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of Server experience in a similar role; size of operation preferred.
- Alcohol Beverage server certification is preferred.
- Food handler certification is preferred.
