Independent Financial Group, LLC (IFG) an independent broker-dealer in San Diego, California is currently seeking a Software Support & Training Specialist
. The primary role is to provide software support and training to IFG's Financial Advisors and their staff for the products and services provided by IFG. This is a customer service position with limited technical knowledge requirements.
Any technical necessities will be included in training upon hire.
This position also interacts with various departments including Operations, Compliance, and Supervision.

Provide end-user application support via phone, email and support request tickets
Troubleshoot application challenges, access, and other technical issues
Provide software application training using a variety of delivery methods
Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution and appropriate follow-up with branch offices
Collaborate with team members in the help desk to resolve incidents
Work closely with technology partners to resolve third-party software challenges
Qualifications
2-3 years of customer service experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in a related discipline.
IT ticketing system experience desired
Competencies
Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward advisors and employees
Customer focused and able to manage large call volumes as and when needed
Strong problem solving with an emphasis on customer service skills necessary
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively. Strong oral and written communication skills
Basic technical working knowledge of PC based computer hardware and software required
Desire for continuous learning
