    Responsibilities

    Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

    • Responsible for managing and collaborating with team to establish and meet production deadlines.
    • Coaches, trains, mentors and helps develop team-members.
    • Collaborates on a regular basis with Department Managers (DM) and with the DM's from other CSA offices.
    • Provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to co-workers.
    • Demonstrate the capability to understand and apply Client standards affecting project phase, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, work letters, programs.
    • Implement a communication plan for meetings and written reports and meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed.
    • Review and comment on consultant deliverables for quality and coordination alignment with agreements.
    • Comfortable with the management of project's financials: Project Execution Plan.
    • Actively participate in talent acquisition and manage the proper staffing level within the Disciplines.
    • Knows and understands CSA strategic direction, policies, processes, procedures and standards and aligns the team to achieve these goals.
    • Develops and applies quality control and quality assurance processes.
    • Promotes the culture (environment), policies, procedures and processes to achieve quality and the effective use of technology.
    • Decisions made with a thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
    • Participates in the establishment and maintenance of companywide codes and regulations library.

    Requirements

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
    • Must have years of related experience leading multidiscipline. With a min of 10 years of project management experience.
    • PE, PMP and LEED AP (preferred).
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
    • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
    • Ability to effectively present information.
    • A charismatic person with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
    • Knows and understands CSA strategic direction, policies, processes, procedures and standards and aligns the team to achieve these goals.
    • Knowledge of MS Project, Microsoft Office Suites, contracts, and construction practices.
