    Description
    Nurse Practioner - Rochester, NY - 13 Weeks Contract

    Sigma Healthcare team is looking for a Nurse Practioner to work onsite at client's facility in Rochester, NY.

    Shift : 3 13's or 7on/7off –13 hour shifts Days/Nights, Weekends, Holidays, On Call, Call back per unit needs

    Description :
    • Exciting opportunity to work in the Neuromedical ICU.

    • Responsibilities include direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients.

    • Direct care responsibilities include admission work-ups, daily management (including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and transfer/discharge).

    • Other responsibilities include student precepting, and support of unit-based nurses.

    • Applicant must be motivated, flexible, and independent and possess excellent clinical skills in critical care.

    • The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training


    Must Have:
    • Acute Care NP certified or NCCPA certified.

    • Minimum of 2 years critical care experience.

    • Neurosurgical or Neurology experience is highly preferred.
