Senior Endpoint & Server Security Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Endpoint & Server Security Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and operational ownership of endpoint and server security technologies across a hybrid infrastructure environment that is actively transitioning toward Microsoft Azure.

This role is responsible for strengthening endpoint protection, mitigating email-borne threats, advancing ransomware defense capabilities, and improving overall security posture across Windows-based systems.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong analytical capability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
Endpoint & Server Security Engineering
Own and manage endpoint and server security technologies across Windows 11 and Windows Server 2016+ environments.

Lead engineering and operational support of:
Microsoft Defender (primary endpoint security platform)
SentinelOne (AI-driven behavioral detection and ransomware response)
Trellix security technologies
Absolute for asset tracking and device control
Respond to and investigate security alerts, ransomware incidents, and behavioral detections.
Generate and deliver incident reports and post-incident analysis documentation.
Develop policies and controls to mitigate phishing, domain spoofing, and other email-based threats.
Email & Threat Mitigation

Administer and optimize email security policies using:
Mimecast
Strengthen phishing defenses and domain protection strategies.
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to reduce user exposure to malicious content.
Infrastructure & Patch Management
Support hybrid infrastructure strategy with gradual movement toward Microsoft Azure.
Partner in the management and deployment of security patches across workstations and servers using:
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Coordinate with teams leveraging:
Splunk
Microsoft Sentinel
Assist in optimizing system performance and maintaining secure configurations.
Documentation & Standards
Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and security procedures.
Contribute to endpoint and server hardening practices.
Provide recommendations for continuous security improvement and Azure-forward initiatives.
Support roadmap development for next-generation endpoint protection technologies.
