    Description

    The Certified Nurse Aide provides daily nursing care to residents, following assessments and care plans. Essential Functions include:

    • Assisting residents with daily tasks like bathing, feeding, dressing, and more.
    • Carrying out duties according to resident care policy and procedure.
    • Measuring and recording vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
    • Detecting and reporting situations that may cause accidents or injuries.
    • Contributes to resident care plans based on knowledge of conditions/needs.

    Qualifications

    Educational Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Licensing Requirements:

    • Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Long-term care facility experience preferred.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands of this job include effective communication, lifting up to 50+ lbs, carrying up to 25-50 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 50+ lbs, standing, sitting, walking, speaking, driving, balancing/climbing, stooping/kneeling, crouching/crawling, reaching, hearing/listening, seeing, and turning/twisting/leaning.
