Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for electronics and a drive for excellence? At EDS Lansdale, your skills wont just build components-theyll help shape the future of aerospace and defense technology.
As an Assembler, youll be hands-on with systems that safeguard missions, support national security, and push the boundaries of innovation.
ResponsibilitiesClean, prepare and mask PCBs per work instructions (connectors, keep-outs, test points).
Apply brush coatings to meet target dry film thickness.
Mix/label/track materials per SDS; manage cure (oven/ambient/UV) and record data.
Inspect under UV/magnification for coverage, bubbles, bridging, FOD; perform rework as needed.
Maintain 6S/housekeeping; follow chemical handling, PPE, and ESD controls.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE
High school diploma/GED.
Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills; careful, detail-focused work.
Able to read simple work instructions and complete basic computer/record entries.
Stand for most of shift; lift 5-15 lbs occasionally; wear PPE (gloves, glasses; respirator as required).
Visual acuity for close work; comfortable using UV light; normal color vision helpful.
This role involves access to controlled technology and materials; applicants must be a U.S. Person under U.S. export laws (or eligible for government export license)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
WE VALUE
2 plus years of experience as an electronic assembler
Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, and Mil-Spec standards
Experience in aerospace, defense, or government contract manufacturing environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
Effective communicator; comfortable working both independently and on a team
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and deadlines
