    Description
    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our client in California.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading environmental assessment, designing mitigation and/or remediation systems, and managing projects to ensure successful completion.

    This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to environmental conservation efforts and make a meaningful impact in California's environmental landscape.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead and manage environmental assessment projects, including Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site investigations, and feasibility studies
    Design mitigation and/or remediation systems to address environmental contamination, such as soil and groundwater remediation systems, vapor intrusion mitigation systems, and stormwater management solutions
    Develop project proposals, including scope of work, budget estimation, and timeline, in collaboration with the project team and clients
    Oversee project execution to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, project specifications, and client expectations
    Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal team members to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that arise
    Conduct site visits and fieldwork as needed to support project objectives, including sampling, monitoring, and data collection
    Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate project findings, recommendations, and outcomes to clients and regulatory agencies
    Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve project goals within established constraints
    Stay updated on environmental regulations, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance project delivery and maintain compliance
    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, fostering professional growth and development within the team


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion
    Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in the State of California required
    Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards applicable to California, such as CEQA, NEPA, CERCLA, and state-specific regulations
    Proficiency in project management principles and practices, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
    US citizenship and willingness to travel domestically for project-related activities, as needed
