    Description

    Overview Description:

    • This CAD Technician 2 position will support the Specialty Services (TETS) group within the Commissioning and Testing (TET) organization.
    • This position will collaborate and work closely with electrical engineers and electrical engineering technicians to verify that all marked up drawings are properly received, revisions are completed accurately, and within established timelines.
    • This position facilitates CAD revisions of electrical drawings across the service territory except in the situation that redlines are contracted out to an external company.

    Required Technical Skills & Experience:

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Experience with MicroStation CAD software.
    • Experience with ProjectWise.

    Preferred Skills & Experience(optional):

    • The ability to analyze and effectively document large volumes of technical data is essential.
    • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and changing priorities.
    • Skill in oral and written communication to effectively fulfill client/customer/team requirements.
    • Experience participating in and performing effectively in a project team environment.
    • Previous experience working in the utility industry.
    • Proficiency with MS SharePoint to aid in updating group site with additional links to share data.
