    A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Fundraising Research & Development Systems Manager.

    About the Opportunity:

    • Schedule: Monday to Friday
    • Hours: Standard business
    • Setting: 3 days work from home; 2 days in the office

    Responsibilities:

    The Fundraising Research & Development Systems Manager will:

    • Perform regular (yearly or biyearly) wealth screenings of entire donor base to maintain accurate and updated prospect data
    • Develop and operate a program that proactively researches direct mail or online donors and prospects with ultra-high net worth to create a bench of qualified prospects
    • Conduct donor and prospect research and analysis based on requests from fundraisers and the executive office, or before events and missions
    • Regularly review and update fundraiser portfolios based on departmental criteria, donor behavior, and portfolio criteria
    • Manage incoming fundraiser portfolio requests
    • Oversee and manage guidelines and practice of the import and export of activities related to donor engagement (e.g. events and missions), in partnership with the Gift Processing & Analytics (GP&A) team
    • Oversee other team members in the bi-yearly pledge reminder and write-off process
    • Work with fellow team members to facilitate regular (quarterly or monthly) lapsed donor reporting to provide fundraisers with actionable leads

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience as a Business Analyst, Research Analyst, Marketing Analyst or similar role
    • Prior professional experience in a relevant field, such as Development Operations, Business Development, Analytics, and/or Reporting
    • Prior experience in high-level prospect research; knowledge of best practices for building profiles of potential donors
    • Experience working with CRMs (i.e. Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Little Green Light, etc.)
    • Strategic business analysis, forecasting skills, and creativity;
    • Ability to see both the big picture on a macro scale and the micro details, spot key opportunities, and generate business ideas
