Job Description
Radiation Test Engineers are responsible for testing piece parts in support of larger SEAKR programs and future development plans. SEAKR uses Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) parts in various space applications with high reliability and performance records. The Radiation Test Engineer will test both analog and digital parts of various complexities for both long term and instantaneous effects using radiation requirements from various programs. The Radiation Test Engineer will assist in development of statements of work, designing test boards, writing test plans, and performing testing in a radiation environment. The Engineer will also extract data from the part, perform the test report, and deliver the data. Testing commonly requires the development and modification of software coding to assist in timely interface with the test solutions, along with software development for tools needed to improve practices and team efficiency.
