    Description
    General job duties. Types of procedures required.
    Perform general radiology, bone density testing and CT exams independently in both hospital and clinic settings.
    Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)

    Xray equipment:
    Carestream DR-Lite; Shimadzu DR-Lite
    • Client Dexa machineCT equipment: SiemensEMR
    • EPIC, PACs
    • SECTRARequired skills and minimum years of experience.
    Two years' experience. Proficiency in all exams in general job duties description above.
    Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

    ARRT (R)(CT), BLSShift or schedule requirements.

    (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)8-hour shifts/ 5 days per week (Mon-Fri).

    Must be able to work independently. Call is required. Call shifts are 2-3 weeknights (5:00 PM to 8 AM) and two weekends per month. Weekend call is from Friday at 5:00 PM to 8 AM Monday. Call back time is 20 minutesFloating to other units/departments.

    Technologists will be orientated to department procedures, policies, and protocols by technologist in department. Expect traveler to be able to work independently within 1 week of starting.


    Additional Comments:
    Roughly 15 exams done on weekdays (24 hour period) between Gen X-ray, CT. Weekends 4/day.
