    This is a grant-based position funded through 2028.


    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Program Coordinator will provide comprehensive support for Power Up Spartanburg, Spartanburg County's small and minority business development initiative.

    The coordinator will support the Mentoring Director in administering the Spartanburg Venture Mentoring program, and will coordinate details, scheduling and reporting for all Power Up components.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Essential duties and tasks to be performed include

    Provide administrative support for the Spartanburg Venture Mentoring program to include: creating/managing processes and procedures, overseeing scheduling of mentoring sessions, overseeing mentor/entrepreneur relationships and engagement, coordinating the monthly mentor meeting, creating/maintaining files and database, and documenting successes.

    Ensure precise upkeep of program records, and assist in compiling detailed reports and analyses on program activities, outcomes and impacts, aiding informed decision-making for internal stakeholders and external partners.

    Oversee and manage the scheduling of Power Up meetings, workshops and events, including quarterly Advisory Board meetings, Partners meetings and other stakeholder meetings.


    • Manage Power Up meeting preparation, presentation development, meeting reminders, minutes/note taking/appropriate documentation, and all follow-up.
    Contribute to developing and implementing efficient administrative protocols and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and program effectiveness.

    Act as the primary liaison for all communication channels, managing inbound and outbound correspondence via emails, calls, newsletters, and inquiries from stakeholders, partners, and participants.

    Ensure all power up programs, partners, and participants have satisfied all documentation and reports to satisfy the Federal grant requirements and compliance to include: MOUs, Conflicts of Interest, beneficiary forms, and all related documents.

    Work with finance team to ensure all documentation is completed for grant reimbursement.
    Build a strong working relationship with countywide Small and Minority business partners.
    In day-to-day interactions with staff, partners and members of the community, always exemplify the organization's core values.

    EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum requirements to perform this role include
    A strong ability to build and maintain relationships in diverse settings
    Excellent communication skills (listening, written, verbal and presentation)
    Strong business acumen
    Excellent project management skills from project initiation to execution
    Excellent database development skills
    Ability to work both independently and on diverse and dynamic teams
    Proficient using all Microsoft office programs

    EXPERIENCE:
    Ideal candidate will have these skills, education, experience
    Three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience
    An Associates/Bachelor's degree in a related field
    Previous experience working with applicable partners
    Excellent PowerPoint capabilities
